SYDNEY A new 577-room Hilton hotel in Sydney will be one of the city's biggest convention and meeting hotels when it opens in mid-2004.
Hilton Sydney will have 4,000sqm of meeting space on the first four floors for 3,000 delegates. Its grand ballroom will cover 806sqm and will seat 840 guests for dinner and 1,200 for a cocktail.
A smaller ballroom spans 328sqm and will hold 330 for dinner and 440 for cocktails. There will be 23 function rooms with moveable walls for plenary sessions and break -outs and exhibition areas on levels three and four.
