Hilton Chongquing offers C&M special

CHONGQING The newly opened Hilton Chongqing has become the first Hilton in mainland China to launch the group's new conference and meeting (C&M) product - "Hilton Meetings". Hilton said it had imposed strict criteria for a hotel's C&M facilities to qualify as a Hilton Meetings property. The qualifying list is based around the concept of a specialist floor of medium-size function rooms equipped with the latest hardware. Dedicated and specially trained staff, comfortable breakout space, ample space, the latest technology and a highly professional business centre capable of supporting all types of meetings and seminars are an integral part of the total concept, a Hilton spokesman said. In addition, all meeting rooms must have windows to provide natural daylight and be set up with the latest technical and communication requirements, including broadband access and wireless connectivity for added convenience. In the coming years, more Hilton hotels in mainland China would also be introducing Hilton Meetings in their refurbishment plans, the spokesman said.
