Hernandez to head product for McDonald's APMEA

HONG KONG - McDonald's has named Leila Hernandez to head its product division for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions.

Hernandez, currently head of marketing for McDonald’s Southeast Asia, North Asia and India, will retain her marketing roles for North Asia and India, and will relocate to Hong Kong.

She succeeds Tom Pickles, who shifts to a global menu management role in the US. As head of product, Hernandez will cover product development and product strategy, an area which is seen as a priority for McDonald’s.

The Southeast Asia marketing director role is assumed by Lisa Ransom, formerly McDonald’s Korea marketing director.
