Health firm hires MindShare for planning in China

SHANGHAI: Singapore-based health focus brand Osim has extended its media contract with MindShare into China.

On top of handling Osim's Hong Kong media brief, the agency has been awarded its planning and buying assignment across the border, where Osim is stepping up expansion.

The company has been looking for a creative agency in China. In the meantime, Osim's chairman and chief executive officer, Dr Ron Sim, said its Hong Kong agency Freeway would be "given a shot at China.

Sim added that Osim would be expanding its China presence with "shops in shops outlets at department stores. As of July, it had 75 such outlets in stores across 17 cities, retailing its range of health focus products such as massage chairs and blood pressure monitors.
