Zenith Media China has won two major clients in quick succession -
Bright & Danone Dairy and Sony - with billings of US$30 million.
For Bright & Danone, Zenith pitched against MediaCom, Carat and
incumbent MindShare, which are all Danone's roster agencies globally. On
Sony, Zenith outgunned incumbent The Media Edge for the consumer
products account. The review comes amid speculation that Sony is gearing
up for a massive campaign to grow its consumer products business in
China, with China's entry into the WTO. There was no change in the
creative agencies handling the two accounts.
