HEADLINES: WPP establishes global media holding company
<p>Communications giant WPP Group has set up a holding company for its </p><p>extensive media interests, which are said to account for USdollars 26 </p><p>billion in global billings, 20 per cent of this in Asia-Pacific. New </p><p>company GME groups WPP brands such as MindShare, Motivator, Maximise, </p><p>Media Plus in Taiwan and The Media Edge, which it gained with the </p><p>acquisition of Young & Rubicam. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The move follows its set up of Kentar to group its research agency </p><p>interests. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
