Howard Wang, who helped set-up Bozell and built Carat into a media
company handling hundreds of millions of dollars in Asia-Pacific, has
died after a short battle with cancer. He was 47.
Mr Wang spent the past two decades as business manager and advisor to
major companies in the region and was the first Hong Kong Chinese to
take up a top regional job for a multinational agency. He was most
recently regional CEO of Carat Asia-Pacific, however his experience has
not been limited to the advertising industry. Mr Wang has also been head
of marketing at Citibank and Bank of America.
