Time Inc Asia's ITU "Roam Go!" programme has raked in advertising

revenue of more than USdollars 3 million for Time Asia, Asiaweek and

Fortune Asia magazines. Timed to coincide with the International

Telecommunication Union (ITU) Telecom Asia 2000 show in Hong Kong

earlier this month, Roam Go! was a comprehensive programme that

integrated print and online advertising to provide a unique environment

for advertisers targeting decision-makers in the telecom industry.

Individually, Time Asia's November 27 edition grossed more than

USdollars 2 million and was No.3 in terms of revenue for the title this

year. "These high revenue figures are a true vote of confidence from our

advertisers on a subject that has become one of the region's biggest

stories," said Mr Andrew Butcher, publisher of Time Asia and Fortune

Asia. The ITU package attracted five overall sponsors, who joined the

complete Roam Go! Programme: Canon, NTT DoCoMo, Ericsson, Intel and

Wherever.net.
