Headlines: Thai tourism banks on Heineken in awareness bid

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has stepped up efforts to promote Hua Hin and Chaam as destinations to foreigners. Events such as the Heineken Jazz Festival to be held from June 4 to 6 will be staged to create awareness among foreigners. About 50,000 tourists are expected to attend the festival, generating revenue of almost 500 million baht.
