Telecommunications and internet service provider Star Hub is

preparing to call a pitch to consolidate its media account with one

agency, posing a dilemma for Starcom. The review covers media buying and

planning assignments for StarHub - now handled by Maximize - as well as

Star Hub's subsidiary Singapore Cable Vision (SCV), which Starcom won in

September. It is understood that Starcom, which does some media planning

for rival Singapore Telecommunications, has been asked if it would be

interested in pitching. The problem for Starcom is that this would

involve resigning SingTel but there are no guarantees it would win the

pitch.
