HEADLINES: Standard Chartered media business up for pitch
<p>Standard Chartered Bank has put its media business up for pitch. </p><p>Sources said the brief initially focused on Hong Kong and agencies' </p><p>cost-effective media-buying abilities. Zenith, MindShare and OMD are the </p><p>three agencies fighting for the account. Standard Chartered recently </p><p>realigned its global creative account with J. Walter Thompson, leaving </p><p>FCB and Leo Burnett out in the cold. FCB also used to handle media </p><p>planning and buying for the bank. Hong Kong is the bank's main market, </p><p>commanding about half of its total global marketing communications </p><p>budget. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
