MediaCorp News has promoted Chan How Fang and Ong Hee Yah to senior vice-president of news and current affairs and SVP of Channel NewsAsia network programming, promotions and distribution. Chan leads a team of 150 journalists to produce the daily news and current affairs programmes on the channel, including Malay News in Suria, Tamil News in Central and News 5 on Channel 5. Ong continues to guide the channel's branding and strategic development.
