Ian Batey has relinquished the day-to-day running of the Batey
Group to what he called a "second generation" of leaders.
However, Mr Batey - best-known for creating the hugely-successful
Singapore Girl icon for Singapore Airlines, and who has led the agency
for some 30 years - will remain as chairman of the board to oversee
macro issues and major accounts such as Singapore Airlines and
StarHub.
From this month, the "second generation" of leaders who have been
empowered to drive the organistion include group chief executive officer
Rod Pullen, group deputy chairman George Chan and the agency's Singapore
chairman Rick Scott-Blackhall.
