HEADLINES: Satcasters wired up to a third of homes in Asia
One-third of all television homes in Asia-Pacific now have access to cable and satellite channels, representing about 188 million homes, a study by the Zenith Optimedia group has found.In addition, pay-TV subscription revenue is tipped to grow 16.8 per cent this year. Advertising will grow just 1.4 per cent but it will remain the dominant source of income for satcasters until at least 2010.
