HEADLINES: Rubel leaves McCann Japan as COO post is axed

Phil Rubel has left as chief operating officer of McCann-Erickson Japan, about a year after taking up the post. No reasons were given for the departure. A source said that no replacement was being sought as the COO's role had been made redundant. Working under president/CEO, Max Gosling, Rubel handled account management and strategic planning.
