HEADLINES: Motorola splits regional media brief after review

Motorola has split its regional media account between MindShare and Universal McCann following a review. The mobile phone vendor has awarded its China media planning and buying responsibilities, previously handled by Universal, to MindShare. According to monitored data, the brand spends about 600 million yuan in China. Universal has however retained the assignment for the rest of Asia, which is estimated to bill about US$70 million.
