Motiv8 and its custom publishing arm, Motiv8 Publishing, have set up office in Shanghai aimed at providing marketing communications services to both local and foreign clients. Motiv8 account director, Corona Lee, said the multinational brands the agency served were all focusing their attention away from Hong Kong and towards China, but that "they are all facing a difficult time finding the expertise and on-ground support they need to survive and grow there". Motiv8 will initially focus on serving financial services, IT and telecommunications companies.
