HEADLINES: MindShare billings up 17 per cent

MindShare has reported a double-digit growth in billings for the

first half of this year, thanks to new business wins and better economic

conditions across Asia-Pacific.



Its regional billings, not including Japan, for the first six months

totalled US$2.7 billion, up 17 per cent compared with the same

period in 1999. Its new business wins included Star TV across Asia,

entertainment portal Stareastnet, and Shanghai mobile telecommunications

retailer Eastern Communications.
