HEADLINES: Miao resigns; Desker Shaw promoted

<p>Ms Sharon Desker Shaw has been appointed editorial director of </p><p>MEDIA magazine, taking over from Ms Suzanne Miao, who is leaving the </p><p>company after nine years to spend time with her family and to pursue </p><p>other interests. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Ms Desker Shaw will be working with MEDIA executive editor Alfred Hille, </p><p>and together will oversee the redesign and relaunch of MEDIA, scheduled </p><p>for the end of March. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Ms Desker Shaw was previously editor of Asian Brand News, sister </p><p>publication of MEDIA, and has been with the company since 1998. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Meanwhile, Asian PR News will also be relaunched with a new look. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Mark Johnson continues as editor of the title, and will be joined by </p><p>Ms Jennifer Whitehead as deputy editor. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>She is currently with PR Week in the UK. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
