M&C Saatchi has beaten out four other agencies, including incumbent
BBH, to win the CNBC Asia account.
The account came up for review after the pan-regional business news
broadcaster increased its live business coverage to 18 hours a day,
which as CNBC Asia chief executive officer Scott Goodfellow put it
"raises the bar on how effectively we communicate with our audience and
business partners".
The pitch focused on both strategic and creative and M&C won because of
its "excellent strategic planning and creative presentations" according
to Miguel Bernas, CNBC Asia general manager, marketing and
communications.
