HEADLINES: Lowe/Lintas allies with Daiko in Japan

<p>Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide has formed an alliance with Daiko </p><p>Advertising in Japan as the first expansion project in Asia after </p><p>merging with Ammirati Lintas. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The Interpublic Group, the Lowe Group's affiliate partner, will acquire </p><p>a minority ownership of up to 20 per cent in Daiko. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Lowe formed a joint venture with Standard Advertising and acquired a </p><p>minority shares of the Japanese agency. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"When we launched Lowe Lintas & Partners five months ago, we said that </p><p>combining the strengthens of Lowe & Partners and APL would create one of </p><p>the world's leading networks," said Mr Frank Lowe, Lowe's chairman and </p><p>CEO. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"Daiko will be an important partner to us as we continue to build the </p><p>network." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In the alliance, Daiko will have access to Lowe's global networking </p><p>resources while Lowe will benefit from Daiko's presence in Japan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
