HEADLINES: Lowe appoints Curtis to CD role in Thailand office

Lowe Lintas & Partners Thailand has appointed Jeffery Curtis as its

new creative director. The move comes amid reports that the agency, one

of the biggest in Thailand with billings of 4.4 billion baht (US$100 million) last year and 280 employees, is bidding to improve its

creative standards and maintain its competitive edge in difficult

economic times. Curtis, who formerly worked with Lowe Lintas in London,

said he aimed to boost the levels of creativity in the Thai office. It

is understood that he has already begun to introduce a new working

climate, initiated by the London office, aimed at encouraging creative

work among local employees.
