HEADLINES: Interpublic eyes True North buy
<p>Interpublic is reported to have started discussions to buy out True </p><p>North Communications. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The news comes following a protracted period of speculation over whether </p><p>Havas Advertising would table a deal for True North, said to be in the </p><p>region of USdollars 1.5 billion. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>True North has been looking to link with another global advertising and </p><p>communications group since losing its key client DaimlerChrysler, which </p><p>wiped out USdollars 140 million in revenue for the company and forced it </p><p>to shed 150 staff. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
