Advertising spend in Hong Kong shot up 13 per cent year-on-year in the second quarter to US$1.05 billion, according to Nielsen Media Research. An 89 per cent surge in real estate spending to $50 million helped push the overall market higher. For the first six months, the territory's adspend rose seven per cent to $3.8 billion.
