HEADLINES: HK portal on verge of inking sports agreement

<p>Tom.com has said that it is on the verge of clinching a deal with </p><p>the Chinese Basketball Association, which it claims will make it the </p><p>largest sports marketing company in China. Tom.com has applied for CBA's </p><p>commercial rights, including event organisation and advertising </p><p>sponsorships. The portal has already confirmed a deal with the Chinese </p><p>Gymnastic Association, covering advertising, marketing and commercial </p><p>activities. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
