HEADLINES: Hakuhodo buys stake in fledgling Korean agency

Hakuhodo has purchased a minority stake in Korean agency ComON21 in a bid to broaden its Korean client base. ComON21 was founded less than two years, however, it has already established itself as a creative hotshop, according to Hakuhodo, which also said that activity in Korea's advertising industry was rising amid an increase in the number of Japanese companies entering the market, ahead of this summer's World Cup soccer finals.
