Hakuhodo has reached an agreement to acquire a 50 per cent interest
in Percept Chuo Senko India, for shares currently held by Chuo Senko's
local operation in Thailand. Following completion of the share transfer,
the company will be known as Hakuhodo Percept. Percept registered
billings of 391 million rupees (USdollars) in 1998, which ranked it at
No.23 nationally; sixth among local, independent ad agencies in India.
