FCB Worldwide has clinched the multimillion-dollar Cotton Council
International account, dealing a blow to incumbent Ammirati Puris Lintas
(APL), which is now part of the Lowe Lintas Group.
"As APL merged with Lowe & Partners, we have decided to appoint another
advertising agency to help us to promote the brand image of Cotton USA,"
Mr Timothy Iu, marketing manager of Cotton Council International, told
MEDIA.
The incumbent held the account for one year.
FCB also took over Standard Chartered Bank's InvestPro Service account
from incumbent agency Leo Burnett.
