ESPN Star Sports (ESS) has landed a five-year agreement in
Singapore to renew carriage of its sports programming via Singapore
Cable Vision. The pact comes as ESS is about to launch a dedicated
Southeast Asian feed for Star Sports. The feed will be customised to the
sports viewing preferences of people in the new target region,
especially in Singapore. ESS has also scored a number of major
programming coups, with its deals for the English Premier League and
Major League Baseball.
