George Patterson Bates chief executive officer, Ian Elliot, will leave the agency at the end of August. Elliot has worked at Patterson for 30 years but in recent months, the agency has been plagued by account and management departures. From August, Elliot becomes non-executive chairman of CCGA subsidiary Zenith Media, where he will work out the remainder of his three-year contract with the group.
