Walt Disney has put its multi-million dollar, Asia-Pacific media
business up for pitch in a move aimed at reducing the number of media
agencies it uses in the region.
The pitch involves Disney's movie and consumer products division in Hong
Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.
The company currently employs a number of different agencies for its two
divisions across the different countries it operates in, a source close
to the pitch said. Disney is looking to have at least one agency per
country, the source said.
