Dentsu reports the Japanese economy is showing signs of recovery, which will filter down to marketing communications activities. Network president Tateo Mataki said: "As a result of the efforts made by companies during the prolonged economic recession, earnings structures have improved. We are seeing indications that firms are beginning to make investments in anticipation of a new stage of growth."
