HEADLINES: D&AD launches non-English television category
D&AD, the British Designers and Art Directors association, has rolled out a non-English language category for television this year. Chief executive, David Kester, said that as much as 60 per cent of entries vying for the coveted Pencil Awards in recent years originated from the international arena, including Asia-Pacific. The new category has attracted more than 500 entries, and will be judged by a separate panel of judges.
