HEADLINES: Cordiant in final talks for George Patterson sale
Cordiant Communications is in final negotiations to offload the bulk of Australia's largest ad agency, George Patterson Bates, for an estimated A$120 million (about US$71 million) to Pacific Equity Partners. Ex-George Patterson Bates chairman Alex Hamill is believed to be included in talks and looks set to rejoin the agency if the sale proceeds.
