The Economist's Asia advertising director Oliver Comyn has been
made ad director for North and South America and will transfer from Hong
Kong to New York in September.
Mr Comyn has been with The Economist in Asia for seven years and with
the company for 12 years.
The interim arrangement after his departure will be for Mr Rupert Harrow
to handle Northeast Asia out of Hong Kong and Mr Nicholas Mesquita to
handle Southeast Asia out of Singapore.
Both will report to former Economist Asia publisher Edward Burness, now
based in London.
