HEADLINES: CNN signs up for Mobileway TV polling solution
Wireless branding specialist Mobileway will host and manage a global voting service for CNN's breakfast show News Biz Today's 'Question of the day' TV polling. Its involvement includes developing an automated solution for retrieval and management of SMS votes, so that CNN is able to access the results online in real time. The voting medium is hosted by Mobileway at its data centre in Singapore. Mobileway regional GM and VP Cyrille Even said that, given new technology and the increasing mobility of people, it was important for broadcasters "to make their programmes sticky".
