HEADLINES: China Adex continues double digit growth rate
<p>China's advertising expenditure grew 22 per cent year-on-year to RMB20.5 </p><p>billion (about USdollars 2.5 billion) in the first quarter of the year, </p><p>according to figures provided by ACNielsen. Tonics and vitamins remained </p><p>the leading product categories in the country. However, the situation </p><p>was not as rosy in the more advanced markets of Hong Kong and Singapore. </p><p>The Adex for the former climbed 4.8 per cent to HKdollars 6.8 billion </p><p>(about USdollars 0.9 billion), while the Lion City put on four per cent </p><p>to Sdollars 337 million (about USdollars 186 million). </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
