HEADLINES: Blow for Lowe as Ikea Singapore decides to go solo
Ikea Singapore has dropped Lowe & Partners, its agency of two-and-a-half years. The agency had won numerous awards for the brand, including a gold Lion at Cannes in 2002. But Ikea marketing communications manager Angeline Tan said customers don't visit Ikea "because we've got a gold Lion or the Gong - if they even know what those are".
