BBDO/Guerrero Ortega have put on about USdollars 5 million in new
business in the final quarter of 2000.
The new business was the result of a combination of wins in competitive
pitches and growth from existing clients.
Wins included Argentina Corned Beef and 555 Sardines and Tuna - both
leaders in their respective categories - and Cemex, a multinational
construction company whose initial brief was to raise awareness of the
dangers of illegal cement imports into the Philippines.
BBDO was also tapped by existing client Bench to handle an unspecified
product launch; the agency currently handles its Zui brand of cosmetics.
