HEADLINES: Bates scoops $4m China snack food business

Bates has picked up the Cadina snack foods business in China following a five-way pitch against D'Arcy, Dentsu Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett and a local agency. Bates regional director for Greater China, Barry Leung, said the Taiwanese food brand was expanding its China business and estimated annual billings at Rmb 30 million (about US$4 million).
