Mr Barry Leung has been promoted to regional director of Bates
Greater China, taking over from Mr Jeffrey Yu, who was recently promoted
into the role of regional president for Bates Asia.
Mr Leung's promotion follows a 14-year tenure with the shop, most
recently building Bates' China operations.
Below-the-line at Bates, Mr Patrick Lai and Mr Bob Houldsworth have been
appointed joint directors of 141 Asia, sparked by the recent departure
of 141 Asia regional director Mike Langton.
As current managing director of 141 China, based in the SAR, Mr Lai will
continue his present responsibilities, in addition to his directorship,
as will Mr Houldsworth, who is currently MD at 141 Malaysia.
