United Asatsu has won the NT$200 million (about US$6
million) Taiwan Tourism Bureau account and the agency's brief is to
focus its efforts on the Japanese market, the source of one-third of the
island's arrivals.
The bureau's international division deputy director Bruce Lin said
Asatsu won by "unanimous consensus" of the multi-disciplinary panel of
judges.
Nine agencies pitched for the account and the shortlisted shops included
McCann-Erickson, Saatchi & Saatchi, United Advertising and Everbeauty.
