HEADLINES: Apple Daily promotes Simon to general manager

Hong Kong's Apple Daily has promoted Mark Simon to general manager of sales and marketing and assistant to the chairman Jimmy Lai. Simon, who has been with the Chinese-language mass circulation newspaper for about four years, was previously, deputy GM for sales and marketing.
