Total advertising revenues for all regional publications surged
12.8 per cent in the first three months of this year, according to
latest statistics from Competitive Media Reporting.
In March alone, however, the figure was down 6.5 per cent from the same
month a year earlier.
The Asian Wall Street Journal (AWSJ) continued to dominate the overall
market, with revenue soaring 46.6 per cent in the first quarter compared
with the same period last year.
At the same time, its market share shot up almost five per cent to 20.7
per cent.
