HEADLINES: ACNielsen predicts year of growth in A-P
<p>Asia-Pacific's adspend should continue to grow at a double-digit </p><p>rate this year, following the 12 per cent year-on-year growth for 1999, </p><p>according to Mr Frank Martell, ACNielsen's chief operating officer for </p><p>Asia and Japan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"The Internet and telecoms sectors will help fuel growth and barring </p><p>unforeseen events we're expecting another year of growth at the double </p><p>digit rate," he told MEDIA. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>On a country-by-country basis, Mr Martell said he expected robust growth </p><p>in the health and personal care categories in China, the insurance </p><p>sector in Hong Kong and the dotcom field in Hong Kong, China and </p><p>Singapore. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
