Headline: Star promotes Chou to general manager in Taiwan

Star Taiwan has promoted Wayne Chou, who joined the broadcaster in 2000, as general manager. Chou, whose last promotion was in 2003 when he was named associate vice-president of business operations, had relocated to Taiwan recently to support chief operating officer Steve Askew in managing day-to-day operations. Chou worked at KPMG and ABN-Amro prior to joining Star.
