Headline: Singapore adopts NZ's movie marketing strategy
Looking to replicate New Zealand's Lord of the Ring success, the Singapore Tourism Board has launched a S$10 million 'Film in Singapore' scheme to encourage international filmmakers and broadcasters to shoot and produce quality movies and television programmes in the city state. STB and the Media Development Authority will also provide information and one-stop facilitation on application of permits and licences; and sourcing of venues and locations.
