Karen Lai has left Hill & Knowlton, and is joining MDK Consultants as client service director. The move accompanies an expansion in MDK's consumer practice, which has seen staff strength rise from 17 to 23 in the last six months. Lai will handle the Australian Airlines, Courts, Guinness, Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts, and Procter & Gamble briefs.
