Headline: Benitez quits Optimum Media for Channel 5 post
Optimum Media president and chief executive officer August Benitez has resigned from the media agency after less than a year on the job to join ABC channel 5 as associate managing director for sales and marketing for the A, B and C market segment. Benitez' previous broadcast experience was a stint as executive vice-president for sales and marketing at GMA's channel 7.
