Harrison replaces Yoshitome as Dentsu Y&R chairman
Brian Harrison has taken over as chairman of Dentsu Y&R in Japan, replacing Yasuo Yoshitome who recently retired. Harrison worked at the agency's Tokyo office for a year as executive director, responsible for Western clients. As chairman of Dentsu Y&R he will work with company president Kenjiro Abe to continue to grow the business in Japan. "We don't wish for it to be that he is the Dentsu guy and I am the Y&R guy but we are a joint venture and we are working in partnership in many ways," said Harrison, who previously held the post of CEO for Southeast Asia and vice-president in charge of strategy after running the network's Singapore office for 10 years. <BR>
